South Carolina Wallops Coastal Carolina 70-10
Every home game this year I've ridden my bicycle down to Williams Brice Stadium to photograph Gamecock fans in anticipation of publishing a book about what becomes the state's third largest city on a handful of days each autumn. On Saturday, I packed my gear up when the fireworks signaled Connor Shaw's touchdown pass to Shaq Roland and by the time I pedaled back to my home in West Columbia the Gamecocks were in front 28-0. Carolina went on to amass seventy points against the opponent from Myrtle Beach, the most in Steve Spurrier's nine year tenure at the school.
