Photos: Football means that Halloween is coming
There was a high of ninety one today in Columbia, SC and my roommate remarked how nice it was when he walked out of the house around one o’clock this afternoon. Folks on social media chatted about the cool temperatures being signs of the forthcoming change of the seasons. That's right people, Halloween is coming. Bring out your Freddy sweatshirts.
Because football season tells me so. And Halloween Express. It’s still a week and a half out from the Gamecocks season opener against Vandy and only the first week of high school play but it feels like football has already attached it’s death grip upon me. For photojournalists that cover sports, the seasons can revolve around what types of balls you are shooting, the size of the field, and the weather that may challenge you.
Here are some photos of football I've made this season for The State Newspaper, Lexington Life Magazine and for The Angry Whale. It's only August 22.
Are you ready for some pumpkinball?
