Photos: Jam Room Fest with Guided by Voices
You know something’s afoot when a dude walks past you on Main Street in Columbia wearing a Merge Records t-shirt and you don’t recognize him. Couple that with the largest gathering of college radio alumni since college, and it can mean only one thing: Jam Room Fest. Now in it’s sixth installment and created by the iconic recording studio on Rosewood Dr., the annual free music festival yesterday featured Guided by Voices, Elf Power, Hiss Golden Messenger, Valley Maker, Bask, Bombadil, FatRat Da Czar, Hearts on Fire, Numbtongue, The Lovely Few, King Vulture, and Barnwell.
