Sean Rayford is a freelance photojournalist based in Columbia, SC - with more than 25 years experience covering The Palmetto State. For the last ten years, Rayford has freelanced with the New York Times, Getty Images, The Associated Press and others. Living in South Carolina, while also pursuing major storms across throughout region Rayford has covered more than a dozen hurricanes during the last decade.
