Over one thousand people gathered at the South Carolina Statehouse on Saturday night in Columbia, SC to show their support for the removal of the Confederate Flag from the capital grounds. The flag was originally placed atop the statehouse dome in 1961 and then relocated in 2000 to the Confederate Monument at the intersection of Main Street and Route #1. 6/20/2015
