MISGIVINGS OF A PHOTOGRAPHER: I had planned to photograph the Women's March anniversary event yesterday in Charlotte but it started at 10 a.m., in comparison to Charleston's sister event, which didn't kick off til noon, when it would be twenty degrees warmer. I fouled up and went to Charleston instead. No offense to anyone, my analysis is strictly based on picture making. I should have gotten up earlier to take advantage of a walking march traveling through morning light, bouncing off of city buildings in the downtown streets, instead of a stationary rally in a large flat open field at noon. Luckily, there was a sweet dance party, I brought my step stool and camera technology in 2018 is amazing.
