On Tuesday morning I noticed that the Gamecocks had a noon tip-off vs. Baylor and thought, that'd be a nice way to spend the afternoon..." As part of the ESPN College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon, South Carolina played host to the Bears at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC. I had good seats. The Gamecocks lost in entertaining fashion to the opponents from the Big 12 and will face Cornell to open play at the Charleston Classic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
