"Struck out three times. Made an error that lost the game."
"The biggest thrill a ballplayer can have is when your son takes after you. That happened when my Bobby was in his championship Little League game. He really showed me something. Struck out three times. Made an error that lost the game. Parents were throwing things at our car and swearing at us as we drove off. Gosh, I was proud." -Bob Uecker
Last week, three different age divisions with teams representing states from Florida to North Carolina to Texas, converged on Lexington, SC for the Dixie Youth World Series. A team from Hartsville, South Carolina outscored their opponents 98-8 in the Majors Division. Many of their games were cut short because of the slaughter rule.

Unfortunately though like I said it’s nothing we haven’t really seen before, it’s not a breath of fresh air, it’s doesn’t really stand out as the comedy of the year, but in opposition it’s really not something we haven’t seen before, but apparently audiences seem to want to see more of it.
