Mardi Gras at City Roots - Soda City Style 2014
As the sun crashed across the City Roots Farm near Owens Field Airport on Saturday, groups of children played on piles of mulch and raced through greenhouses like X-Wings in the Death Star. Dogs licked eachother and strangers hula-hooped with one another. Some in the crowd even threw back a few brews to celebrate the fourth annual Mardi Gras Columbi-Ya-Ya festival that featured a parade through the Rosewood neighborhood and near 25 live music acts. If you missed the party... you missed the party.
