Can't Remember the Weekend - Ep. 4 - Rainbow Pooping Unicorns

The premise of this photoblog is a pursuit of rainbow pooping unicorns. Saturday morning I came pretty close, when I shot for Flo Foto, the official partnering photography company for the ever popular Color Run. If you aren't familiar, the Color Run is a world touring 5K run/jog/walk/crawl event where volunteers douse the participants in a powdery color substance at several stations along the course. With tunes blasting like a good night at a cheesy Vista club I can see why it's called the "Happiest 5K on the Planet." Each station has a different color and a few handfuls of dancing color tossing volunteers. By the time folks finish - where everyone dances some more - they should have a nice palette. #Party. Hailing from Douglasville, GA - Norma Jean has been ripping up one of their favorite clubs in the United States for more than decade with their penny picking metalcore slam fests. Friday night at New Brookland Tavern continued the tradition as underground metalheads came in search of Saturday morning bangovers.

Soda citizens came out in droves on Saturday for the Mardi Gras parade and festival at City Roots near the Owens Field airport. I'll have some more from that later in the week - stay tuned. Until then here's some more from the Color Run.
