Welcome to The Live Music Capital of the World - Photos - SXSW 2014
"It's about to get real windy out here," says the dude carrying the leaf blower on the deck of the Javelina Bar at 69 Rainey St. in Austin, TX. It's nine am and I have to poop. Scratch that. People are bustling about - setting up PAs and straightening the remnants from yesterdays action at SXSW. Friends from Columbia are showing up at bar 1100 miles from home. A few hours ago, Chicago's Bring Your Ray Gun (above) was playing inside. They were the last band I caught on the day before music officially began at SXSW. We had to be here pretty early to set up the first day of Stereofly Showcase - the Soda City's Cancellieri plays at 11 am. Here are some photos from our first day in Austin, TX for SXSW.

Here's the first link-up of my friends from Columbia, SC. We spent the first hour standing in intersections.
