I ran into a volunteer at the World Beer Festival on Saturday who'd I'd met this past Halloween (I think she was Captain Planet) and I asked her what she enjoyed most about the event. "Can people watching be the answer? Or is that bad?" she said in a very guilty tone.

"No," I said, "But If so, I'm going to be in a lot of trouble. It's the right answer."
