Things were going well on Saturday afternoon. I was able to catch the Mardi Gras parade through Rosewood and General Sherman's cannon assault on the capital city from West Columbia. The day was warming up and I had a Hootie beer in my hand back at the Mardi Gras festival. Plan was to throw back a few and wait for the light to get grand and shoot through twilight with booze power. Before I finished that first beer I realized my camera had died after three years of abuse and over 330,000 images made. Then I locked my keys in my car and Dunkin' Donuts was out of chocolate covered rings. In fact, because it was Valentine's Day, they had hardly any donuts and they all had strawberry icing.  FTW.
