"NAZI SCUM! ...OFF OUR STREETS! NAZI SCUM! ...OFF OUR STREETS! NAZI SCUM! ...OFF OUR STREETS!

I can hear protestors in the Cleveland public square as their voices bounce off the downtown buildings, reaching me on the other side of an epic soldier's monument. I've got earbuds in and I'm tuned into the local police scanner and things get chatty - real fast. As I rush around the memorial I see a packed square. On one end, Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams is rescuing Alex Jones from an altercation with RNC protestors. On the left, a wall of media - on the right, a shit ton of police and mobs of protestors. It's the fringe. And they are all here. Right now. It's a dissident, photographer, po-po shit sandwich.

The Chief Williams led team of law enforcement parted the crowd, and extracted Jones to the closest intersection where an SUV snagged him up and sped off north of the square.

Following the Jones incident, law enforcement dispersed the crowd which splintered off into different directions in downtown Cleveland. It got intense when the bicycle calvary cut a small group of "anarchist" protestors off from one another. The bicycles function as transportation, and both defensive and offensive weapons. I suspect we may have future problems as protestors react to the use of the bicycle in the offensive manner. Here are some photos on the streets from the first two days of the 2016 Republican National Convention.
