Photos: Moms demand closing the loop
After morning meetings with state lawmakers concerning gun legislation for the upcoming session, representatives from Moms Demand Action gathered yesterday on the statehouse steps with community leaders and elected officials in support of SC Senate Bill 516. Aimed at closing "The Charleston Loophole," the bill was introduced last March and created in response to the 2015 massacre at Mother Emanuel AME church in Charleston, SC.
A highlight of the event included Rev. Thomas Dixon leading the crowd in a chant shouting "WE CALL B.S.!"
