Photos: Hasher battles Congaree River to fetch beer for friend
“Shit happens mate,” explained Dan Cooper when asked about the last stretch of his journey yesterday on the rivers in Columbia, SC. As part of a Hash House Harriers flotilla, one of Cooper’s friends found himself with an empty beer as they approached the Gervais St. bridge. Sandwiched between a flattop and a string of tubes, Cooper was thrust in an epic struggle through the small rapids.
