Party on the Water - Family Fun on the Holiday Weekend
"There's dead fish in this water! Something ate a hole in it's side!" explained the boy in the wet shirt after finding a dead bass on the beach at Lake Murray on Saturday evening. Much like when a cat brings it's owner a dead animal from outside, the parental figures groaned at the boy who brought his clan such a pleasant smelling present. "Put that thing in the trash!" shouted an adult from a picnic table. The beauty of spending time with family on the holiday weekend.
It's no surprise that residents and visitors flocked to the water for the holiday weekend as the temperature topped out in the mid 80s. Friday and Saturday saw those spots teaming with human activity. What did you do to celebrate the start of the summer?
