Dance Party Erupts on Main St. During Pride Fest

On Saturday afternoon the South Carolina community celebrated the annual Pride Fest by turning Main Street in the capital city into a dance party. It seemed as though every time I turned around there was another group of people surrounding someone cutting rugs. The atmosphere was electric.

Chad Downing, member of the recently formed hip-hop super-group NewSC (a brainchild of FatRat the Czar), was spotted accidentally pouring an adult beverage on his wife, Tina while attempting to dance. I tasted some and it was really tart.

The drink.

Crystal Moore, the openly gay police chief of the small-town of Latta, SC, was on hand. Her story involves a two-decade long career in law enforcement and a small town mayor who fired her and then the town who turned on the mayor, removed him from office and a city council who then rehired her.
