US Congressman Joe Wilson Eats Donut Outside Gas Station

I once had a donut problem. It began as a grade schooler in Mt. Airy, MD when I participated in a community pool swim-a-thon. As I was nearing my goal in the pool, all I could think about was eating the donuts from the stand that normally lured me with freeze pops. My father placed a donut on the edge of the pool at one point, like a carrot on a stick. A bite for each of the last laps completed. Then when I got out of the pool I ate five more donuts. So when I saw Freedom Donuts on Tuesday morning, I had flashbacks and I thought about how Krispy Kreme donuts are the least awesome of the donuts. I'm proud to say that I think I have my donut problem behind me. I still eat them, just not in handfuls at a time.

I heard US Congressman Joe Wilson was going to be working the register and talking to "voters" at the Spinx gas station on Decker Blvd. so I drove across town to get some gas, take some photos, and possibly purchase an "adult" magazine (at the suggestion of my roommate Sam) from the South Carolina Representative. I believe I missed the opportunity because Wilson's schedule required him to leave early. None-the-less, there were donuts in sight and I'm proud to say I didn't eat any donuts today. Yet.
